Terminal Blues

I thought I would start this podcast with a song not a poem. Mainly because I recorded it in my study in the summer and I haven’t recorded any poems yet. I work as a social worker in a hospice and I wrote this song for a gentleman who I got to know there. I know he would have liked it; it is his kind of song with his kind of sentiment expressed through it. et in arcadia ego, if it’s paradise we want death is the way in especially if we build a little bit of it here first.
